Steggo's Second Grab Bag Sale!!!!

Steggo's first grab bag sale went so well, Dimetrius decided that it would be a good idea to run another one! So here to present the three pedals in this group is our founder Steggo and his younger sister Steggi, our resident electronics expert!

This time around, we have three high-end pedals built on AionFX boards - the Cygnus, Meteor, and Refractor! The Refractor is the AionFX version of the Klon Centaur. As with all AionFX boards this one is incredibly solid - and it can be run in either true bypass or buffered bypass mode (I prefer buffered bypass mode). I was still playing with names for the Klon pedal at the time, and this one has a unique Roman "Centurion" theme. The board itself is built in what would essentially be more of a Klon KTR configuration as it has all modern metal film resistors, metal film capacitors, and polarized Nichicon electrolytic capacitors.

I've featured the Meteor build previously on the blog. It replicates the Ibanez SD-9. Overall I was happy with this build, but I need to come up with some more original art before I put this one into series production. By and large this build uses modern components, but the 1N914 diodes are all vintage which gives it a great sound!

Last but not least is the Cygnus - a Cornish G-2 clone - which has also been featured on the blog. Up for sale is Serial Number 1 (which was technically finished after Serial Number 2). This one has low-leakage 1N270 germanium diodes - though because of the slight forward leakage, the G-2 is quieter than most other muffs! This one is done in an enclosure that is an homage to the original G-2 - by Eggeax Steggo himself of course! (Spoiler Alert!) The G-2 clone is scheduled to go into production soon in a fun new enclosure (yes - this is the BMP variant I mentioned in the teaser article!).

Since these are higher-end pedals, this grab bag sale is a little more expensive than the last one, but still screaming deals:
  • Buy one of these pedals: $99 + shipping
  • Buy two of these pedals: $179 + shipping
  • Buy all three of these pedals: $239 + shipping
The last batch went within a couple of hours, so act fast!
