Steggo's First Grab Bag Sale!!!

EDIT: Well, Dimetrius was right... these are all now sold!

So as I mentioned in my teaser article, there are a lot of cool things in the pipeline. I just put in a large order for enclosures this weekend. Of course, now Dimetrius (the dimetrodon - our office manager - don't worry, he's cool - he'll never ask for a TPS report) has indicated that we have too many pedals, especially early prototypes, lying around. He also hinted it would be "really cool" if we could find a way to get some of them to new homes. So, introducing Steggo's first "Grab Bag" sale!

The first grab bag of pedals includes three AionFX builds - the Anubis, Synapse, and Wyvern. I previously featured the Wyvern build on the blog. It's a fairly rare variant of the Tube Bender initially published in a magazine and then produced in low volume by Dinosaural.

The Anubis is the AionFX version of the Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe. Both the Wyvern and the Anubis are built with all modern components and are housed in some of my earlier Tayda UV printed enclosures.

The Synapse is a bit of an odd bird. It is based on "the Systech Overdrive, a fuzz pedal released in the early 1970s before the idea of “overdrive” had become distinct from “distortion” and “fuzz”." Since it was an early 70's pedal, I went with Allen Bradley resistors on the build, though the rest of it is modern. This one has a hand decaled enclosure, and there are a couple of chips in the clearcoat, but it's solid overall.

All of these pedals work and sound great, but the "Steggo Brand" (if there really is such a thing) has sort of gone in a different direction since I put together these prototypes. I may end up making more of these down the road, but for the time being they're unicorns that need new homes!

So how does the SALE work, Steggo, you may be asking. So here's the deal!
  • Buy one of these pedals, and it's $59 + shipping
  • Buy two of these pedals, and it's $109 + shipping
  • Buy all three of these pedals, and it's $149 + shipping

Just a heads up, the original prototype of my "Stone Age Distortion" - based on the Mad Professor Stone Grey Distortion - is also for sale for $69 + shipping. These will be making a comeback, but with a different enclosure. So again, this will be a unicorn with no more production planned in the enclosure like the one for sale.
